PolyVic holds monthly socials and discussion groups, bi-monthly poly family picnics, and other special events both in Melbourne and other parts of the State. All poly-friendly folk are welcome to any PolyVic event.
Socials are an opportunity to meet other interesting people, hang out over a drink and a meal, and chat about life, the universe and everything. They're a great introduction for extroverts and people interested in meeting other poly people. They're held on the final Sunday of the month, from 5:30pm onwards.
Discussion groups are quieter more structured events in which people can discuss questions, issues, and experiences of polyamory in greater depth, in a safe environment. It's a good introduction for introverts and poly-curious people.
We are currently (26/1/12) hunting for a new venue for both discussions and socials. Stay tuned.
Poly Family Picnics are held on the first Sunday of alternate months (March, May etc). Anyone interested in any topics to do with polyamory, families, parenting or related topics is welcome to come along and chat.
